Online A Reflection

Technology is very important to me and I use it every day. I don't just use it at school but I also use it at home or anywhere I'm at because technology is always with me. I always have me phone with me when I go out to eat or just go for a bike ride. I get on my computer in my house and I watch TV or listen to music. I don't know what I would be doing without technology. Technology has really changed in the past couple years for example, the TV makers have came out with a new type of television and its 3D. Five years earlier the only way you could see things in 3D would be to go to the movie theater but now you can watch any movie in 3D or sports in 3D. Technology is also changing everyday so in the next five years I think they will make a phone that is better than the phone 4S. They will also make tiny flash drives smaller than what we have today and make them hold more too.
The technology at school is similar to the technology I use at school. I use computers to take online experience classes and to look up information for projects. I use TVs to watch movies in whatever subject I’m in. but some of the things I use at school but not at home is an overhead. Even if I did have one I probably would never use it because I would have no reason for it.
Some of the tools in online experience that I would use in the future would be blogging, PowerPoint, and I would defiantly use typing. Some other things I would use would be the glister if I ever had to do a project in a future class. The tools that I learned in computers that I would never forget would be typing, PowerPoint, and publisher. These ones you will probably use for the rest of your life. Some of the tools I won’t use again are probably be blabberize and voki. Those were fun and all but I won’t use them ever again. My favorite tool to create would be the igoogle account. It was really fun to customize and find a funny banner and cool gadgets for your igoogle. And my least favorite would be the RSS feed. I really didn’t know how to do it and it still doesn’t make since to me.

Blog Post Compare and Contrast

I think that the voki was a lot easier to use. It didn't take a long time to get the bubble around the persons mouth and with your voki all you had to do was record your voice and pick your character. My favorite was probably the voki because you could pick an animal or a different character. I would most likely use blabberize again because I could do it on some of my other school project like a history project.

copyright song

DR. DRE versus Lucasfilm
Dr. Dre is alleged for copying the deep note at the beginnings of movies. But allegedly he had permission to use the sound in his songs and according to Lucasfilms they never saw anything from him to use the song. The sound is featured on his bestselling album in 2001.
Since then Lucasfilms have filed a lawsuit against Dr. Dre (as well as aftermath and interscope records) for copyright infringement. he was sued in 2007 by lucasfilms.

Your Photo Fate

This video is about a girl who sends a provocative picture to someone. He then sends it to his friends and so on and so on until it gets to people she doesn't know and other adults. Then it gets online and people keep passing it on until at the end of the movie a grown man looks on the Internet and finds it. This could happen to you if you send a picture to someone. After you send it to some it is out of your hands. You cant stop the picture from being sent once you send it.

nettiquette

Netiquette is being a responsible citizen on the Internet. This means that you shouldn't curse or say bad words on the Internet. Also you shouldn't hurt others feelings. As the golden rule says treat others the way you want to be treated. This is examples of what netiquette should be.

http://www.cnn.com/2011/09/22/tech/mobile/americans-prefer-text-messages/index.html
31% of the adults in American prefer texting to calling people. and 14% said it depends on the situation. cell phone owners from the age of 18-24 send on average 109.5 text everyday, thats more than 3,200 text per month! that number is twice as mcuh compared to the cell onwers from 25-34 and 23 more times the mnumber for 65 and over.if the way the young population keeps texting it could change the way cell phne carriers do business forever.
